Christmas Sleepover with Party Details from WeR Memory Keepers

We're headed to Iowa for Christmas vacation with the family soon. I'm so excited, this will be the first time we'll be home for Christmas in a couple years. I'm excited for Ava to spent Christmas with her cousins and extended family.

Christmas is a amazing season to spend with family and friends. A time to share love and laughter and make memories. As my children get older and more into what Christmas is all about it becomes more and more fun sharing this season with them.

I've been a brand ambassador for Lifestyle Crafts for a while now, and I will now be apart of their Lifestyle Studios teams specializing in the party decor portion. So, I'm excited to be sharing different projects every month using some of their awesome tools and accessories.

Today I'm teaming up with my friend Destiny from the blog A Place for Us and sharing with you this adorable Christmas sleepover you can easily put together for your little ones. Perfect for sharing with little cousins or play date friends.

Grab your blankets, books and pillows and set the scene under this adorable handmade tent. I made this tent for my family pictures a few weeks back, we also use it and have it set up in our home. Ava loves to read books in there and play. If you would like to purchase one, you can here. photo ChristmasSleepover10_zps31f3c34a.jpg
With some simple supplies from around the house you can set up your own Christmas Sleepover too! Plus I'm going to show you some products from We R that you can use to create some special details.   photo ChristmasSleepover11_zpsbe1dd655.jpg

I used the food tray die to make these little trays to hold sugar cookies in. I simply used the die and cut the shapes and then folded on the lines and used the Sticky Thumb Adhesive to keep it glued together.

Fun tip, add some syrup to the rim of your bottle and dip it in sprinkles or sugar for a fun and festive garnish.

I also used the snowflake die to make these snowflake wraps and put them around the glass bottles. These glass bottles are just empty Starbucks Frap bottles that I've cleaned and saved to re use. They have come in really handy. Destiny made these adorable drink flags to go with. Check them out here.

Valentine's Day Cookie Favors with Lifestyle Crafts

Happy Monday lovelies! Valentine's Day is just one month away! Can you believe it? Today I wanted to share with you a quick and simple favor idea you can make for those Valentine's Day play dates, or small gifts you can give to teachers or friends.

Using the food tray die cut from Lifestyle Crafts I cut out these adorable trays for my cookies. I used plain white card stock, but you could use any color you'd like. Once assembled together, I added some store bought cookies inside my trays. They are big enough for two of these cookies, you could also add small candies too.

I also added some red and white bakers twine and tied it around the tray and finished with a bow.

I scooped up this twine at the dollar spot section of Target. Go now and get some for yourself!

Add a small note or card and you've got the perfect small gifts for parties, friends, co-workers or adorable teacher gifts for your kids to give!

Mini Love Note Mailbox

Today I want to share with you a quick and simple Valentine's Day craft you can make for your kiddos. I love the idea of making special little things for my kiddos during the holidays to get them involved and excited.

Photobucket

This week Lifestyle Crafts released their Love Notes Collection for Valentine's Day. An awesome little collection of Valentine's Day inspired die cuts and printing plates. Today I'm using the mini mailbox die cut to make a simple little mailbox.

I whipped up this little mini mailbox with the idea in mind that I would put a little love note to Ava or piece of candy in there everyday till Valentine's Day. Each day she could open it and find a special treat till Valentine's Day, sorta like a Valentine's Day advent.

I love how simple it was to put together. I ran my dies through my letterpress machine, and then assembled it. I used the Sticky Thumb tape runner to hold everything together.

Photobucket

Now, it's all ready to fill with notes and treats come February 1st! I love this little idea so much, and I think my little one is going to have a lot of fun opening it everyday.

Fun Holiday Hostess Gifts with Lifestyle Crafts

This week Lifestyle Crafts released their new Wintertide Collection. I love Christmas time and it's never to early to start thinking about gift giving! Today I want to share with you a fun easy hostess gift you can give to your friends, this would also be a great gift to give co-workers. I'm always looking for small fun gifts to show appreciation.

You know I love a good cup of coffee, or anything to do with coffee right?

Photobucket

Using the Drink Sleeve Die I cut out two of them with my letterpress machine. I also cut out some banners to add to the front of the cuff.

Using some foam stickers I added them to the backs of the banner dies to make them pop and give them a 3D effect. They will look like this when you're done:

Photobucket

I bought my disposable cups from Target. Put your sleeve together and slide it onto your coffee cups.

Next I used some crafts sticks, and some green glitter stickers to write "stir" on the sticks and put them inside the cups.

To finish everything off I placed a hot cocoa and tea bag inside each of them along with the stir sticks. You could also add marshmallows, Christmas candy or any other small items to complete these coffee gifts.

DIY Glittered Mini Envelopes

You know I love a good lined envelope, you can see the ones I made for Ava's birthday invitations here.  Today I want to show you how to make some mini glittered lined envelopes with the help of Lifestyle Crafts new envelope die.

Photobucket

The new Fall Core Collection 2 is now available at Lifestyle Crafts. I was lucky to get to try out some of their new dies. Take a look below at all the fun things they now have to add to your collection.
Photobucket
Wanna make some DIY Glittered envelopes for yourself? Here's what I used for this project, you can see the links below to each product.

Photobucket
glitter paper (I bought mine on a mega pack at JoAnn's)
Elmer's glue stick

Using your Letterpress machine place the die on the cutting board and run it through your machine.

Photobucket

Using the machine cut as many as you need, in my case I decided that I wanted to make four of them in two different colors.

Photobucket

Photobucket

After you have them all cut out, using your glue put some glue on the back of the paper and insert it into the envelope and press firmly. I folded the envelope on the perforations as well before gluing them down.

Photobucket

Repeat till you're done with all your envelopes, now they are ready for gifting giving and using. I think these little mini envelopes are great for giving gift cards for birthdays, Christmas or other celebrations. They are also great for slipping cash into birthday cards as well. There's so many possibilites you can do with them.

Photobucket

How fun are these! I love anything that's mini, and with the glitter inside it's like an extra special surprise inside when you open them up. Plus, a fun little gift card or some cash is always fun.
