The Bump Fairy: 37 weeks

The Bump Fairy: 30 weeks
After being gone for the last 10 days, it's good to finally be home. I had a great trip in MN visiting friends, and a great time in IA being with family for my brother's wedding. Orion and I had a great trip. It was on that trip home that I realized I've hit the "uncomfortable" stage finally of my pregnancy. My back is killing me almost daily throughout the day, and I can't sleep due to this and getting up to use the bathroom multiple times during the night. I try to tell myself that we're on the home stretch and not that much longer to get me through. We only have 10 weeks left! That is crazy to me, I feel like this time has just flown by. It's gone by so fast, we still have a few more things we need to do/buy for the baby to feel really ready. So I'm thankful that God has a purpose for the 9 months that we have.
We went to the doctor on Monday, got to hear the heartbeat it's strong at 150! And she's in the 26th percentile for weight. I scheduled my next ultrasound for Feb. 2nd for them to re check again my placenta. I'm praying that it's either moved, or this is the last time they will have to check so we can finally get a date for our C-section or not. More to come on that.....
How far along? 30 weeks/7 months/3rd trimester
Total weight gain/loss: 14.8 lbs
Maternity clothes? Yes, daily.
Stretch marks? none that weren't there before.
Sleep: Between bathroom breaks, and back pain nightly sleep is becoming harder and harder. I've been trying to get a nap in during that day though because at this point I'm not sleeping well during the night.
Best moment this week: Hearing a great report from the doctor. Baby Ava got 8 out of 8 on her growth & development ultrasound last month. So far they say we have a small baby, but she's at a good weight.
Movement: Lots and lots of movements.
Cravings: Ice cream, I made Orion take me during the night a couple nights ago to get some from the store in a rain storm!
Gender: Baby Girl!
Labor Signs: none.
Belly Button in or out? in.
What I miss: Sleep. But, I don't think I'm going to get much better at this point.
What I am looking forward to: Finishing the baby's nursery, we've got to get a few more things and I have a few more things I want to put on the walls for decor and then I think we'll be ready for the BIG reveal!!
Weekly Wisdom: none.
Milestones: Making it to 30 weeks, only 10 more to go!!

The Bump Fairy: 29 weeks
29 weeks/ 7 months/ 3rd trimester
I'm a little behind on my posts,due to vacation so here's a re-cap of week 29 when I was in Minnesota! Enjoy, more to come on week 30 later in the week!
How far along? 29 weeks
Total weight gain/loss: 8.8 lbs
Maternity clothes? Yes, everyday.
Stretch marks? none.
Sleep: It's getting harder and harder to sleep comfortably. The iron supplements seem to be doing there job, as my leg cramps have been less and less which is nice. But, I'm still waking up a few times in the middle of the night to use the bathroom and can't quite seem to get back to sleep.
Best moment this week: My MN baby shower, and getting to see good friends! I had such a great week spending time with everyone.
Movement: Lots and lots, especially at night while I'm trying to sleep!
Cravings: Nothing really, but I did get to have Chinese food this weekend, which really hit the spot!
Gender: girl.
Labor Signs: none.
Belly Button in or out? still in.
What I miss: Right now, I miss Hubby. I wish he could have been here with me this week! I'll have spent a total of 7 days apart by the time I get back home. That's a record for us. I don't think I'll be doing that again.
What I am looking forward to: Traveling home to IA next week to see family.

How far along? 27 weeks
Total weight gain: 8.8 lbs.
Maternity clothes? duh.
Stretch marks? none.
Sleep: leg cramps and peeing...nuff said!
Best moment this week: I know this might sound weird to some or vain but getting my hair cut & hi lighted this week was the best. I haven't had a hair cut since May and I was well over due, and now I feel more like myself. And for all Mom's and Mom's to Be you know this is a big deal to feel beautiful during this stage of life.
Movement: She's a night owl, what can I say?
Cravings: Milk.
Gender: Girl
Labor Signs: none.
Belly Button in or out? in.
What I miss: nothing at the moment.
What I am looking forward to: seeing family & friends next week.
Weekly Wisdom: I've been reading this great book called Five Star Families, and I'm really enjoying it. It's got all sorts of great advice. Stay tuned for my review!

The Bump Fairy: 23 weeks
How far along? 23 weeks/ 6 months
Total weight gain: 8.8 lbs
Maternity clothes? Yes, pretty much daily!
Stretch marks? none
Sleep: I've been waking up almost nightly with cramps in my legs and a charlie horse too!
Best moment this week: Finding some clothes that are cute and that fit. I know it seems silly but at this point anything that allows you to feel preggo & cute is a BIG plus in my book. I got a cute new dress that I think I'm going to wear to a couple baby showers and my Brother's wedding rehearsal.
Movement: Lots and Lots of movement, I LOVE it!
Cravings: Pop, which is really weird because I never really had it much before pregnancy, but every now and then I would love a nice cold Dr. Pepper!
Gender: Baby Girl

What I miss: Nothing.
What I am looking forward to: Our Dr. apt next week!

Maternity clothes? Yes, loving them!
Stretch marks? none
Sleep: I've been sleeping pretty well.
Best moment this week: Accomplishing more on the nursery, hanging the pictures and curtains. We're almost there, and it feels so good to have it almost done. Now, I'm just adding decorations.
Movement: Lots and lots of movement, it's really fun!
Cravings: I'm craving Thanksgiving food, good thing it's right around the corner.

What I miss: Family here to share all this with Orion and I.

The Bump Fairy: 20 weeks
We've hit the half way marker! It's pretty hard to believe, I can't believe we're half way to meeting Baby G! Half way, and I still have so much to do I don't feel prepared at all. I went to the doctor yesterday and had a great appointment. I'm really glad we found such a good Doc, she's been so helpful and more than willing to answer any and all of our questions. I'll be back Dec. 11th!How far along? 20 weeks/ 5 and a half months
Total weight gain/loss: 8.8 lbs
Maternity clothes? Jeans and some tops
Stretch marks? none
Sleep: Sleeping good, but starting to feel tired again during the day. Taking occasional naps
Best moment this week: Hearing a good report from the Doctor and getting to hear the heartbeat, it never gets old.
Movement: Moving like crazy all the time!
Cravings: none
Gender: Girl
Labor Signs: none

What I miss: Nothing really
What I am looking forward to: Finishing the baby's room, I ran out of tape and we have Youth Convention this weekend so it'll have to wait till next week.
