Making the Most of Instagram with PRINTIC + A FREE PRINTIC for YOU!

It's no secret that I have a love for Instagram! I love taking and sharing pics with friends and family. One thing I have never done yet was print of my Instagrams from my account. I was excited when Printic contacted me about trying out their app. I couldn't wait to get my hands on some tiny little instas and figure out something creative to do with them.

Printic is an app you can download right to your phone for free for printing & sharing with friends and family. From there you just create and account and login into Instagram from the app.

Choose the pictures you want to print, you can add text if you'd like or order them as is. Follow the prompts to finish ordering and in no time a pretty orange envelope will arrive with your prints.

Then you'll have to decide what to do with them! I decided to whip up a little DIY project to display mine. Follow along below for more on that.

JoAnn Fabrics has these awesome open back white frames in many different sizes and shapes. I scooped this one up when it was 60% off making it $12. I bought a can of spray paint to match my children's bath decor.

Couple coats of paint. Wait for it to dry. After it was all done drying I took some left over twine and stapled it to the back of the frame. I did two rows with my twine.

Next it was time to hang my frame up! I've been slowly decorating my children's bathroom so I decided to hang it there. I choose prints that had both kids in them since this is "their" bathroom.

Aren't they so sweet? I love personal touches like this in my home. I love how this project turned out and can't wait to order more. Getting the prints off my phone and into my hands is so fun!

Favorite Social Media & Why I Love Them

Fave Social Media

I love social media. Some might say that as a society we're way to connected or involved in social media, but I believe everything in moderation. These tools have become my faves for connecting with family, friends and other bloggers. So today a run down of my favorite social media outlets and why I love them.

1. Instagram (@worleyhouse)
I love pictures, I always have. I probably use Instagram the most these days. I love being able to share a quick picture and now video with everyone. Quick fun snippets of life.

2. Twitter (@worleyhouse)
Twitter used to be my #1 but now it's a close second. I love that you can have quick conversations with people about issues or topics that are important to you. I love that I've been able to talk with favorite bloggers and even a few celebs that have replied to me. :) I also love sharing articles and blog posts this way. Choosing your words wisely is my favorite part as you've only got 140 characters to do it in!

3. Facebook (/worleyhouseblog)
There was a time when I had no intention and didn't want to join Facebook but when I moved away from family strait outta college I decided that Facebook was a great way to keep in touch. Now, it's become a fave tool of mine to not only keep in touch but it's helped my business and blog grow.

What are some of your fave social media apps and how do you use them? Leave your handles below so I can follow you too!

Scenes from the Weekend: Nov 2-4

My husband was out of town this weekend.

It's the first time he's been gone for an extended amount of time since Ava was born.

We made it through the weekend, I have an even deeper appreciation for him when he's here.

Enjoy some small snippets from our weekend.

Life via Instagram

I'm probably never, never going to get sick of Instagram. It's my most fave ever app. I think I kinda like it more than Twitter, because pictures tell more of the story that words ever could. Right?! Some scenes from our life via my Insta gram feed.

Photobucket
Wednesday I made a pan of these yummy Scotcharoos for my co-workers retirement party. They went fast, but I had to snag a few to take home for the hubby. {reciepe to come.}
Photobucket
Thursday we baby sat for some friends so they could enjoy a date night! We love having their two boys over, and Ava loves them too.
PhotobucketPhotobucket
Waiting in the pick up line for Daddy is tiring work! Right Ava?! Snoozin' while we wait for hubby. She's so cute, and I just love her so. My fave apps in addition with Instagram are: PicFrame & Phonto. Check them out, if you're an Instagram user you'll probably love them as much as I do!

Scenes from the Weekend

Weekends sure fly by, don't they! We had a great weekend, it was low key but productive. This weekend I was busily preparing to go out of town this next week. So that meant grocery shopping for my family, lots of laundry to be done, and the start of packing.

Here's some scenes from the weekend brought to you by Instagram.

Photobucket
I bought these adorable shoes for Ava from Zulily, only they don't fit. They are a size 5/6 but are more like a 5. If you're interested in them they are still in the package with the original tags. $10 shipped. Email me andreaworley@live.com if you'd like them.

Photobucket
For much of Friday this was Ava's outfit of choice! She loves her tutus, and shirts are optional around these parts until we actually have to get dressed to meet friends for dinner that evening.

Photobucket
Saturday I ran out and started doing a little shopping for my trip this weekend to the SNAP Conference. I had to pick up a few travel essentials. My friend Destiny and I are headed to Salt Lake City Thursday bright and early.

Photobucket
Sunday morning at church, my little "reader." She love, loves books. Doesn't she look adorable, by the way. Totally biased, and I know it. But, really isn't every Mother when it comes to their kid?! I think so.

I'm looking forward to this week. I'm looking forward to my trip this weekend to a city I've never been, having fun with friends and meeting up with other creative minds.

I won't be blogging at the conference this weekend but, If you'd like to follow along with me and join my for conference updates you can find me here:
