We've started a few new traditions here, this Christmas we added a few new ones which included reading 'Twas the Night Before Christmas' on Christmas Eve. A few old ones, like making Great Grandmas cookie recipe, and one of my personal faves that's been around since the beginning....like 2007 beginning.
Our Christmas ornament frames:
Each year we take a picture on Christmas in front of our tree and put it in a ornament frame to hang on our tree.
This year Ava couldn't get enough of them. She kept crawling over to the tree and snaggin' them off. One day, I noticed that she was just holding on to it while she was playing on the floor. Kinda like she wanted Mom and Dad close. (at least that's what I'm telling myself)

Do you notice how she's eating an ornament in this year's picture? And we tried to get Bentley in this year's too but in the end I had to crop him out since the shot was to big for the frame. Trying to get a 9 month old and a dog to look at the same time and stand still is difficult, this was as good as it was gonna get. But we still like it, and most of all we love that it's apart of our family's traditions.
